James, 25, was filmed sitting in the chair when the barber went to put a cover over him to catch any hair.

The cover was stapled with a Tottenham Hotspur shirt on it and was draped over the defender.

James reacted brilliantly once he realised and threw the Spurs shirt off.

He could be seen taking the prank in good jest with the barber as they shared a laugh.

However, Terry did not see the funny side as he posted his comment on the video.

He wrote: "If you f***ing try this with me I'll throw you and the s*** shirt out of the shop."

Fans saw the funny side of Terry's comment as they reacted to the Chelsea legend.

One posted: "Lmaoooo oh captain my captain."

James recently made his return to the pitch after recovering from injury.

He has been limited to just six appearances in the Premier League this season.

The barber is Ahmed AlsanawI and he has trimmed the locks of many a footballer.

His Instagram page showcases trims he has given to players such as Terry, Jack Grealish, Eden Hazard and Phil Foden.

Hazard was also treated to the same prank of having a Spurs shirt put over him back in November.

In 2017, there were reports that Chelsea had banned Alsanawi from their training ground due to his frequent posting of selfies with players on social media.
