There is no time for Ange Postecoglou to stop and take a breath as Tottenham Hotspur are back in action soon in the Premier League at Brentford and it's press conference time again.

The Australian spent Thursday night overseeing a 3-0 win for Tottenham in the Europa League, which brought first goals for the club for academy products Dane Scarlett, Damola Ajayi and Mikey Moore. The victory ensured Spurs finished fourth in the big table and they now take their place in the round of 16 in March.

There is no time for Postecoglou or the players to rest though as they now must travel to Brentford this weekend looking to get their Premier League season back on track after a dreadful run with just one win in 11 matches.

Postecoglou will provide an update on Radu Dragusin's knee injury suffered against Elfsborg and the Spurs boss will also provide any transfer updates, as the north London club continue to battle with others for 19-year-old Bayern Munich winger Mathys Tel.

Our Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold is among those putting the questions to Postecoglou. Scroll down for all of his latest updates from the press conference at Hotspur Way.

Whether Spurs will sign another centre-back

I think depending on the extent of Radu’s (injury), it might be an area we need to look at and certainly this weekend (we are) exploring some options.

The Tottenham boss on when others are returning

They are all kind of around the same time, around 10 days time. We are talking about Vicario, Johnson, Destiny, Wilson, Timo. Romero is a bit of a tricky one. We are not really sure yet. There is still some work he needs to do. Certainly all those guys, I think of the long term ones apart from Dom (Solanke) who is probably a week behind them, the rest of them are slated to be back in the next week to 10 days to be available.

[With Romero] it’s just a slower healer with him and it is one we are looking at on a week to week basis. Again, he has been out for quite a while. Like with all the other long term ones, we are just taking our time.

Postecoglou asked if he's heard anything on Mathys Tel

Not a great deal. I usually find out at the tail end of this stuff. We're exploring opportunities at the tail end of this window.

The Spurs boss on the injury problems at the club

Every time I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel it turns out to be an oncoming train.

Postecoglou on Radu Dragusin's knee

Still not sure, we'll let it settle down and get more information over the weekend. He's obviously not available for this weekend.

In terms of others, Djed Spence should be available for the weekend, Sergio Reguilon should be ok.
