Liverpool star Domink Szoboszlai shares Milos Kerkez message amid transfer links

The latest Liverpool transfer news as both players played the full 90 minutes of the 2-0 Premier League win.

Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has taken the chance to catch up with international teammate and reported Reds transfer target Milos Kerkez following the Premier League win over AFC Bournemouth. A double from Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool a crucial 2-0 victory.

Both Szoboszlai and Kerkez played the full 90 minutes of the game at the Vitality Stadium. Kerkez has been linked with a move to Liverpool as competition for left-back Andy Robertson.


The Hungarian international was signed by now Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes when he was with Bournemouth in 2023. His impressive displays since his move to the Vitality Stadium has led to speculation over his future.

One player who may be keen on him moving to Anfield, either in the final days of the January window, or in the summer is Szoboszlai. Just after the 2-0 win, the Liverpool man has shared a picture on his Instagram story of him with his arm around Kerkez, he’s tagged the Bournemouth man in the post and added a red heart emoji.

Speaking ahead of the clash against the Reds, Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has appeared to pour cold water on any possible move before the January deadline. "I don't think anyone is gonna leave,” he said.

“But, in the market you never know what is going to happen. I don't think, the plan is not [to sell any more].

"The ones who are with us continue until the end of the season. Let's wait and see what happens in three days. You don't know, maybe we have an offer of crazy money for someone. We are seeing what is happening in the last days with other teams, but that is not the plan, no."
