Manchester United completed the signing of Lecce full-back Patrick Dorgu on Sunday morning, adding defensive reinforcements to Ruben Amorim's injury-depleted side. The Danish international, capable on either flank, is also an attacking threat having been a regular goal threat during his time in the Italian top division. Dorgu is the second signing of the winter window for United.

Manchester United confirmed the signing of Danish international left-back Patrick Dorgu from Serie A side Lecce on Sunday morning in a reported deal worth an initial £25M, rising to £30M.
The defender signed a five-year contract, with the option of an additional year.
"Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Patrick Dorgu has joined the club, subject to visa and registration," read a statement from the Premier League club.
Capable of playing on either flank, Dorgu will provide depth on both sides of defence as well as being an attacking threat.
The Danish defender made 23 appearances in his final season for Lecce, scoring three goals and adding an assist. He has earned four international caps, scoring the opening goal in a Nations League win over Switzerland in September.
New United boss Amorim thus gets reinforcements in a position of serious need.
The Portuguese has often fielded Diogo Dalot or Noussair Mazraoui at left wing-back since he took over the reins from Erik ten Hag, with Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw facing fitness battles.
That has perhaps prompted United to move for Dorgu.
Dorgu moved to Lecce from Nordsjaelland in his native Denmark in 2023, and he penned a new deal at Lecce in October that was due to expire in 2028.
Dorgu is the second signing of the winter window for United, following yesterday's acquisition of Arsenal centre back Ayden Heaven. Like Dorgu, 18-year-old Heaven is one for the future, continuing a theme among most of the Manchester club's transfers this season.
The summer window saw the signings of Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte, and Sekou Kone - all under the age of 24.
