Jadon Sancho has commented with a two-word message on Marcus Rashford's Instagram post confirming his loan move to Aston Villa.

The 27-year-old saw his temporary exit from Old Trafford on Sunday, followed by a post in which he admitted having several options regarding a transfer in the winter transfer window.

Even though the Englishman has fallen out with Man United boss Ruben Amorim, he has wished the Red Devils 'all the best' for the rest of the current campaign.

Rashford wrote: 'I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen. I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision - I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season, and the managers' ambitions.

'I just want to play football and am excited to get started. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season.'

However, his former team-mate Sancho quickly replied with a comment that has sparked some heated debates among Man United supporters.

The Chelsea winger - who also saw his exit from Old Trafford in August 2024 over a loan move - has replied with: 'He's back!', accompanied by a crossed finger emoji.

However, some fans have questioned the players' attitudes, as they both saw their departures as the result of conflicts with the head coach.

'Bunch of over hyped average players', one fan said, while another added: 'Two finished players'

A Man United supporter said: 'They have the same mentality thank God we are done with them'

'They both have bad attitudes and pride. So it's not new', a fan wrote, while another added: 'The king of attitude that leads you to be a wasted potential kinda player'

Rashford initially joins on loan, but it is understood that Villa also has a buy-option for a £40million fee.

The 27-year-old player - who has not played since mid-December - will have 70 per cent of his salary covered by his new side.

He has scored 138 goals throughout his United senior career, but his current campaign has been disappointing, with only four goals in the Premier League so far.

Meanwhile, Villa needed attacking reinforcements after Jhon Duran completed his £65m move to Al-Nassr earlier last week.

Sancho has also left on loan to Stamford Bridge after the former Borussia Dortmund player fell out of favour with ex-United boss Erik ten Hag.

The winger's transfer includes a permanent move to Chelsea for £23m in the summer.

He has secured a regular place in the Blues' starting line-up, scoring two goals and delivering five assists in 19 games so far.
