Douglas Luiz could be offered to Manchester United in exchange for Joshua Zirkzee - Paper Round

Juventus could offer Manchester United the chance to sign Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz in exchange for their Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee. Elsewhere, Barcelona star Fermin Lopez was the subject of a £58 million bid from The Red Devils and Aston Villa last month, and Benjamin Sesko could be a "realistic" summer target for Arsenal, who have been linked with three other players.

Man Utd offered chance to sign Luiz
Manchester United and Juventus could pull off a "sensational" swap deal involving Douglas Luiz and Joshua Zirzkee.
The Serie A side have long been linked with a move for Zirkzee - who scored in United's FA Cup win over Leicester on Friday - and they could offer Brazilian midfielder Luiz to Ruben Amorim's side in a bid to land the forward.
"Manchester United have been handed the opportunity to sign €50m Brazilian Douglas Luiz in a ‘sensational’ swap deal, according to reports," reads an article in the Metro.
"It recently emerged that Ruben Amorim’s side tried to sign the Juventus midfielder on deadline day in the winter transfer window.
"United were also linked to Luiz last summer, along with fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Liverpool.
"Luiz did not end up moving to Old Trafford but according to Tuttosport, a transfer could be on the cards again when the next window opens in the summer.
"The Italian outlet reports that Juventus are prepared to offer Luiz to United as part of a ‘sensational’ swap deal to sign Joshua Zirkzee.
"Luiz has only been a Juventus player since June, having joined the Turin-based club from Aston Villa in a deal worth €50m (£42.35m).
"But Juventus would be happy to let Luiz depart if United were prepared to offload Zirkzee in the opposite direction."
Lopez turned down Man Utd and Villa
Barcelona star Fermin Lopez turned down a move to the Premier League during the January transfer window, it has been claimed.
The midfielder rejected advances from both Manchester United and Aston Villa last month, according to a report in the Mail.
"According to Spanish outlet Sport, both clubs were willing to offer £58m to bolster their midfield with Barca's Fermin Lopez," reads the article.
"However, the Spaniard made it clear from the first moment that he did not want to hear any offer, with the 21-year-old player eager to continue playing for the Catalan giants.
"United are known to be long-time admirers of Lopez's talents amid their recent changes in midfield as Christian Eriksen is expected to leave the club at the end of the season, and former Real Madrid star Casemiro is no longer considered a regular starter.
"However, the Spaniard is confident in his desire to continue at Barca despite his limited playing time compared to his last campaign under Xavi."
Sesko identified as 'realistic target' for Arsenal
Benjamin Sesko is a "more realistic target" for Arsenal, claims the Mirror, as the outlet single out four new players Mikel Arteta's side could sign.
The Gunners opted not to delve into the January transfer market as their search for a forward failed to materialise, despite being linked with Newcastle star Alexander Isak.
The Mirror claims Arsenal also have Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi, Rosenborg teenager Sverre Nypan and Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia in their sights this summer.
"Prising Newcastle frontman Isak away from St James' Park will prove incredibly difficult, though - it could take a British-record transfer fee, in fact - and at this stage, it's believed RB Leipzig's Sesko currently represents a more viable, realistic target," states the Mirror.
"Notable groundwork has already been done on a £51 million move for Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi, although Real Madrid could yet enter the fray for the Spaniard, who snubbed Liverpool last summer.
"Rosenborg's 18-year-old Sverre Nypan is a target that's likely to be revisited this summer after the Norwegian prodigy opted to remain in Scandinavia for an additional six months.
"Espanyol No. 1 Joan Garcia remains a player of interest and contact with his agency Niagara Sports Company has continued since Arsenal saw two bids rejected by the Spanish club in August."
