Tipsy Sir Rod Stewart gatecrashed TNT's TV coverage for Celtic vs Bayern Munich as the legendary crooner danced for fans before nabbing a microphone.
The 80-year-old swanned past the touchline as he interjected himself on a pre-match segment involving Owen Hargreaves before he spoke to the panel. He also starred on CBS' coverage and promised to fly Jamie Carragher to watch Celtic. Sir Rod admitted he had a few drinks before his appearance on TV and talked up the club he insists is "in his blood".
The A-lister was on cloud nine, speaking to TNT, he said: "I've never been on this panel before, it's great. [Celtic] It's the love of my life, apart from my wife and children. As long as we stay in the competition, as long as we don't get humped tonight, and we can go away with a 1-1, or a 1-0 defeat, 2-1 victory would be wonderful but there you are. "We've done it before, Barcelona, AC Milan, Man United, so why not?"
And the frivolity continued with Carragher – who was singing 'Maggie May' to the rocker.

Peter: We keep telling people that this is a special club and this is a special atmosphere. You are their most famous fan. What makes Celtic such a special club?
Rod: Everything about it, it's just different, the charity work they do, everyone loves each other here. The fans are wonderful. It's like no other club, it really isn't. I've always supported Celtic...I've had a couple.
Carra: If Celtic get through, could I come up for the next round and have a few with you?
Rod: Mate, course you can . I'll fly you anywhere in the world you want to go. I've got my own plane. It's not going to be easy tonight, we have beaten Barcelona, AC Milan, Manchester United. If we get lucky and don't make any cock-ups in the first couple of minutes then we're in with a good chance. Did I say cock ups? This team has had a better run in the Champions League than any other team I can remember for quite some time. It's going to be special and (shouts, oi shut up I'm talking to Bayern fans).
