Jamal Musiala 'really happy' to sign new Bayern Munich contract to 2030 - 'I feel at home'

Jamal Musiala is set to extend his Bayern Munich stay to over 10 years after signing a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2030. The 21-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal, the club has confirmed. Musiala revealed that he is delighted to sign a new contract with Bayern, who are currently eight points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.

Jamal Musiala has signed a new contract at Bayern Munich that will keep him at the club until 2030.
Following the announcement that he has extended his stay in Bavaria, the 21-year-old German international said that he "felt at home" at "one of the biggest clubs in the world".
"I'm really happy," Musiala said. "I took my first steps in professional football here and firmly believe we can achieve something big with this club in the coming years.
"I feel at home both in Munich and at the club with our great fans. We've got a lot of things we want to achieve.
"I'm excited for everything that's to come."
Herbert Hainer, Bayern president, said: "What a great early 125th anniversary present for the club and the fans.
"People go to the stadium for players like Jamal Musiala. He’s a truly exceptional player. Sometimes you feel like the rules of gravity don’t apply to him.
"Credit to our sporting management and the board. Today is a very good day for FC Bayern."
Musiala switched to Bayern from Chelsea in 2019 and joined the club's youth academy before he was integrated into the first team set-up the following year.

Since then, he has played 193 times for the club and contributed to 96 goals, scoring 58 and producing 38 assists.
He has helped the club to Bundesliga glory on four occasions and has scored more than 10 league goals in each of the past three seasons, including this current campaign.
On the international scene, Musiala, who represented England at youth level, decided to represent Germany where he has racked up an impressive 38 caps.
The Stuttgart-born midfielder became the youngest German player to feature in a major tournament for the national team at Euro 2020, aged 18 years and 117 days.
He went on to represent Germany at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and Euro 2024 on home soil. He scored three times in the tournament - against Scotland and Hungary in the group stage, and then against Denmark in the last 16.
