Manchester City know they will be out of the Champions League if they fail to beat Real Madrid tonight - and even a win may not be enough.

Real lead 3-2 from the first leg and so a win by one goal for City would only be enough to take the game to extra time and possibly penalties.

Win by two goals or more and City are definitely through. 22 players have travelled to the Spanish capital and Pep Guardiola received some welcome injury news ahead of the clash.

Here's the latest on the City injury front ahead of the biggest game of the season so far.

Erling Haaland

Injury: Knee

Haaland was replaced in the dying minutes of Saturday's win over Newcastle after going down clutching his knee.

Pep Guardiola said on Tuesday: "They (Haaland, Ake and Dias) travelled. We will see tomorrow but it is good news that they are here."

Possible return date: Real Madrid (A) - February 19

Manuel Akanji

Injury: Adductor

Akanji pulled up when blocking a Vinicius Jr cross against Real Madrid, and while he limped through to half-time, he did not emerge for the second period in the Champions League.

Guardiola has now confirmed the Swiss defender will be facing at least the next two months out with an adductor injury.

He said on Friday: "Surgery on Saturday, 8-10 weeks out. Adductor is broken. We wish the best recovery for Manu because the effort he has done this season has been unbelievable.

"Him and Nathan played in difficult conditions and to help the team in emergency condition due to the lack of players in those positions. In the end, the body said enough is enough."

Possible return date: Everton (A) - April 19

Ruben Dias

Injury: Unknown

Dias was 'not fully fit' ahead of the Newcastle game but will be available on Wednesday.

Possible return date: Real Madrid (A) - February 19

Nathan Ake

Injury: Unknown

Ake was also considered 'not fully fit' against Newcastle but he is also available to play at the Bernabeu.

ossible return date: Real Madrid (A) - February 19

Jack Grealish

Injury: Unknown

Grealish went down against Real Madrid just half an hour in and asked to be substituted but is fine to play tonight.

Pep Guardiola said on Tuesday: "[Jack] is able to play a really good game like in the FA Cup but not the consistency to play every week with two games. He was not able to do it but hopefully in the three-and-a-half months we have before the end of the season he can get it."

Possible return date: Real Madrid (A) - February 19

Oscar Bobb

Injury: Leg

Bobb was thought to be closing in on a return recently after missing the whole season so far with a broken leg.

Reports suggest he has suffered a minor setback in his recovery with an ankle issue which could put his return date back.

Possible return date: Unknown

Rodri

Injury: ACL

Rodri still harbours hopes of coming back before the end of the season - something Guardiola says would 'not be intelligent'. City want to give him as much time to recover as possible and are happy to let him sit out the rest of the season to focus on that rehabilitation.

Rodri has targeted a June return for the Club World Cup as a possible comeback.

Possible return date: Wydad AC (Club World Cup) - June 18
