Newcastle United have their eyes on a second Wembley tilt as Eddie Howe pushes his team to go far in both domestic cups this season. To do that, the Magpies must overcome Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion at St James' Park on Sunday afternoon.
There are selection headaches aplenty for the Toon boss, with Alexander Isak a major doubt after a groin injury. Meanwhile, will Harvey Barnes and Nick Pope start?
Brighton have already experienced a win at this venue this season, stunning Newcastle with a 1-0 reversal earlier in the campaign. In recent weeks, Fabian Hurzeler's side have won four on the spin since being destroyed 7-0 by Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

How the Newcastle United team scored at St James' Park...

Newcastle knocked out the FA Cup
The journey comes to an end in the FA Cup fifth-round. Danny Welbeck's late winner steals it.
Analysis to come here.
Willock fires wide
And that - as they say - could be that.
His curled effort flies well wide of the target as we enter the final 60 seconds.
Ahhhhhhh
Corner sent into the box, falls to Tonali, he decides not to shoot with his left and instead tees up Burn but his fizzed cross/shot flies wide of the target.
Into the final minutes.
Newcastle caught napping
Welbeck makes a clever run in behind and the left-back/centre-back are caught sleeping. Livramento plays him onside and when the ball is played to the Brighton striker, he can chip it over Dubravka.
The Brighton fans go wild.
Newcastle have five minutes to rescue something.
Welbeck scores. 2-1 Brighton.
Brighton lead with less than seven minutes left.
Welbeck scores.
Newcastle go close
It's a patient move as Tonali finally works an opening after a good 1-2 with Bruno. The Italian gets to the byline and fizzes a cross in but Wilson's shot is blocked.
Newcastle's best passage of play for a while
Tonali has a go
Urged to shoot by the crowd, Tonali obliges but his long-range effort is blocked as it heads towards goal. Willock is then denied with an effort from a tight angle.
12 minutes remaining.
Into the final 15 we go
Second half of extra time is under way - and STILL it is anyone's game.
A huge 15 minutes coming up before the dreaded shootout!
Newcastle looking shaky
Tired bodies and tired minds as Brighton look more likely to score the third goal. Again, a bit of nervous energy just creeping into the stands before the Gallowgate End starts a chant of "Eddie Howe's black and white army"
Huge Dubravka save
A big fist pump from the shot-stopper as he keeps his side in it. Gomez's low, first-time hit is flying into the net before a top save by Dubravka to his right.
Brighton win a corner soon after but it comes to nothing. First chance of extra time.
Full-time at St James' Park
We go to extra time at St James' Park...
Another 30 to play plus penalties.
Boos around St James' Park
Tonali is rugby-tackled to the ground. No booking.
This game has descended into the madness.
"You're not fit to referee" is the chant.
Goal ruled out
Schar offside from Bruno's free-kick after volleying the ball home in front of the Gallowgate End.
There is a matter of inches in it.
We go into the final few minutes here, 10 vs 10, and the score at 1-1.
Lamptey SENT OFF
IT'S NOW 10 V 10.
Lamptey storms into a late tackle on Murphy and it's a second yellow.
Huge roar goes up at St James' Park.
Six minutes added on
The board for stoppage time has gone up. Six to play at St James' Park.
Isak has came off
He needed a touch of treatment before making way, with Callum Wilson on the pitch.
Mitoma now down and it's a break in play with Howe calling each and every one of his team over to the touchlie - including Dubravka.
It's a moment of stupidity
And Anthony Gordon has been punished. He will now miss the Carabao Cup final.
He shoves Van Hecke in the back of the head as the pair jostle for the position. It's a moment of frustration and he can have no complaints.
Newcastle giving the ball away
Targett, Tino and Tonali all give Brighton the ball back within a few minutes of each other.
This game is there for the taking - but both sides have been sloppy.
Chance goes begging
Murphy wins the ball back and suddenly Newcastle are in a strong position to take the lead. He races towards goal with three ahead of him, picks the right pass to his left, but it's overhit and runs out of play before Isak can reach it.
Big chance, that.
The third goal feels huge
65 minutes on the clock and there is a really nervous energy around St James' Park. Misplaced passes being roundly booed as Newcastle struggle to keep hold of it.
Willock has just missed a header from six yards out, with the goal gaping, to put his side ahead. Newcastle still working the openings but Verbruggen has dealt with most of the crosses in the last few minutes.
Treble change paying off
The emergence of fresh legs has given Newcastle a lift. Hard to say Harvey Barnes took his chance today.
Much better
Isak drives forward and plays an inch-perfect pass to Bruno who has gone beyond him. He gets into the box and squares it, eyeing Gordon, but Lamptey clears the danger.
Should probably have gone himself.
