The summer transfer window is just around the corner and already Arsenal are being tipped to be busy looking for new signings.

The Gunners were heavily linked with signing a new striker during the January transfer window before ultimately deciding against bringing in any reinforcements. Injuries to Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus have left Arsenal without several of their key players in the final third in recent months.

It remains to be seen what plans Arsenal have when it comes to the summer transfer window. Already, speculation has been swirling claiming that it could be a busy few months ahead for the Gunners in terms of new arrivals.

Here, football.london takes a look at some of the latest Arsenal transfer news and gossip that have been doing the rounds over the last 24 hours.

Benjamin Sesko update

A fresh update has emerged on the future of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. Arsenal have been heavily linked with signing the Slovenia international ever since last summer.

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has stated that Leipzig are fully aware that Sesko is attracting interest from several clubs, including Arsenal. Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham are also apparently in the running to sign Sesko, who is reported to be available for around €80million (£66million) this summer.

football.london says: It shouldn't be a surprise that Leipzig know that several clubs are interested in signing Sesko, especially given the striker's form this season. With 17 goals to his name this term and the best years of his career ahead of him, it would make sense if Arsenal are expressing an interest in signing Sesko this summer.

Arsenal 'interested' in Bundesliga star

Arsenal are reported to be showing an interest in signing Borussia Dortmund forward Jamie Gittens. Sky Germany are reporting that the Gunners are considering a move to sign the 20-year-old when the summer transfer window opens.

However, Arsenal are not alone in being mentioned in the report, with Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United also apparently interested. The report goes on to say that Dortmund are of the view that Gittens is likely to leave the club in the summer, although are yet to receive any offers for his signature.

football.london says: Gittens has been linked with a move away from Dortmund all summer, and would make a sensible signing for Arsenal if they can agree a deal. The 20-year-old plays on the left wing and would add valuable competition to Gabriel Martinelli and Lisandro Trossard in the forward line.
