Tottenham predicted team vs AZ Alkmaar - Romero surprise, Tel rest and Solanke decision
Here's the Tottenham Hotspur team we reckon Ange Postecoglou will select to face AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16

Ange Postecoglou finally has plenty of selection decisions to make as Tottenham Hotspur take on AZ in Alkmaar in the Europa League round of 16 first leg.
The world of Spurs never brings entirely good news so with Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Dominic Solanke all now back in full training and available for this game, so came the update that Dejan Kulusevski has a foot injury which will keep him out until after the international break.
The Spurs boss will have to choose the right moment to introduce the three big players back into the team and he will be wary of the mess that came from putting Romero and Van de Ven straight back in against Chelsea as they both got reinjured. There is also a Premier League game quickly arriving on the horizon with Bournemouth coming to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
Kulusevski is a big miss but his injury comes at time when Postecoglou finally has plenty of options in midfield and on the wings and he could even give Mathys Tel a rest with the teenager having played a run of matches after very little football this season before joining Spurs from Bayern Munich.
Here's the team that we reckon Postecoglou will select on Thursday evening:
Goalkeeper - Guglielmo Vicario
Spurs need the Italian's leadership and authority at the back for this big fixture.

Tottenham need the Spaniard to be in good form at both ends of the pitch.

The Argentine has been training longer than the other returnees and Postecoglou might want to get his vice-captain back on the pitch to give the team a lift for an hour or so.
3 of 11Centre-back - Kevin Danso
The Austria international remains the constant at the back with his sharpness and power.

The 24-year-old could be key to Tottenham's night if he can continue his fine form.
