Jose Mourinho tells Rangers defeat didn’t hurt him as Fenerbahce boss bullishly claims ‘they’re not better than us’

RANGERS secured another famous European win by beating Fenerbahce 3-1 last week.
But Jose Mourinho insists the Gers are NOT better than his side.
The legendary Portuguese boss is in Glasgow ahead of tomorrow night's crunch second leg at Ibrox.
Rangers enter the game with a 3-1 advantage after that stunning win in Istanbul last week.
A place in the quarter-finals of the Europa League is on the line.
Despite being two goals down and heading into the cauldron that is the Ibrox atmosphere on a European night, Mourinho is confident of his side's chances of turning things around.
Rangers boss Barry Ferguson reckons his side will be facing a Fenerbahce team and manager 'hurting' after last Thursday.
But Mourinho insists that he was NOT hurt by the loss and in a bullish statement, declared that his team are BETTER than the Light Blues.
Mourinho said: "I'm not hurting. I'm not hurting.
"I think Rangers is not a better team than us and I think we have a chance of qualifying.
"It's not hurt or that I want revenge or that we have to go there and show that we are better.
"It's nothing about that. It's just the fact that I honestly think we are better.
"But. I was trying to be very honest after the match and even today, we deserved to lose. We deserved to lose.
"I didn't use at that time a penalty that could be a penalty, Fred that was suspended. I didn't try to use anything because we made mistakes.
"They capitalised on our mistakes, they were motivated, they were fighting together, they deserved to win.
"There are no bad feelings, there is no frustration, there is nothing. We have a match to play.
"We are so committed with our league, we have such an important match on Sunday and if I feel we have no chance, I'm preparing for Sunday.
"But I'm not preparing for Sunday, I'm preparing for tomorrow because I think honestly we have a chance.
"So until we have a chance, let's go."
