Liverpool players party at Cheltenham three days before Carabao Cup final vs Newcastle
Liverpool players have been snapped enjoying the atmosphere at Cheltenham as Caoimhin Kelleher, Diogo Jota, Andy Robertson and Conor Bradley roared on the horses
Liverpool plays have been snapped at Cheltenham a couple of days after their heartbreaking Champions League loss.
The Reds' stars seemed in good spirits as they cheered on the horses - celebrating their wins.
Diogo Jota, wearing a brown overcoat and matching flat cap, could be seen cheering from the stands in one snap while Caoimhin Kelleher, decked out in a three piece suit, can also been seen celebrating as Andy Robertson looks bemused.
The Scottish full-back had decided to ditch the three-piece suit and opted for a blazer and a shirt.
Conor Bradley was the final Liverpool player seen in the snaps, as he watched on a blue matching three-piece suit with a slighter darker tie to complete the look.
Arne Slot's side had crashed out of Europe on Tuesday evening as Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones saw their penalties stopped by Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Liverpool had gone into the clash one goal to the good - but they were quickly pegged back after an almighty defensive mix-up between Ibrahima Konate and Alisson.
PSG were in the ascendancy as Liverpool most a couple of golden chances to regain their lead. However, the pair couldn't be separated over 120 minutes and penalties loomed - with PSG emering as the winners.
And with 120 minutes of football in their legs, Liverpool will now turn their attention to the Carabao Cup final Sunday.
Speaking ahead of the clash Arne Slot said: "Yeah, it’s maybe the perfect game but I think our nine games in the league are going to be finals as well so if we had to play for the league on Sunday I think we would have been up for it also.
"But yeah, it’s always nice to play for a trophy, it’s always nice to win something.
"Although it is nine finals in the Premier League the upcoming [next league] game will not be the one where we can win something, so now this is the last game of the tournament and it’s against Newcastle.
"So, it’s going to be an interesting occasion and something to look forward to!"
