Manchester United host Real Sociedad in the Europa League round of 16 tonight.

Ruben Amorim's side are coming off the back of a decent Premier League result where they drew 1-1 with title-chasers Arsenal at Old Trafford last weekend. They'll be going up against a Spanish side that have won just twice in their last five La Liga games.

Their first leg meeting ended in a 1-1 draw, with Mikel Oyarzabal and Josh Zirkzee on the scoresheet. At 14th in the Premier League table and no domestic silverware possible, the Europa League is the last chance saloon for United to get a trophy this season.

The Red Devils have only lost one of their last 28 home fixtures in the Europa League, so they will be full of confidence tonight, given their home advantage. That one loss, however, came against Sociedad in 2022.

Here's everything you need to know about the match.
