Who will win Celtic vs Rangers? Our writers deliver predictions for derby showdown at Parkhead
It's Brendan Rodgers vs Barry Ferguson in Glasgow's east end with away fans back in attendance for the first time in a couple of years
It's derby weekend in Glasgow as Rangers get ready to make the short trip to rivals Celtic.
Barry Ferguson - in interim charge after replacing Philippe Clement in the dugout - comes up against Brendan Rodgers for the first time as he bids to mastermind an away day success at Parkhead.
His troops head to the east end after booking a spot in the Europa League quarter-finals following 120 minutes of action at Ibrox against Fenerbahce. They lost 2-0 on the night but won on penalties after the tie ended 3-3 on aggregate.
The Hoops meanwhile have had a midweek off and been preparing hard on the training ground as they bid to go 19 points clear of the Light Blues and edge closer to another Scottish Premiership crown.
But how will this one go? Record Sport's top team have delivered their predictions for the Parkhead showdown.
Keith Jackson
Barry Ferguson is having to jump from the Fenerbahce frying pan into the fire of Old Firm derby day. And he'll have to conduct a head count to discover who is fit enough to go with him. It all feels a bit too much for a Rangers side which has been flaky all season
Celtic 2 Rangers 0
Michael Gannon
Their contrasting styles have made recent clashes wild to watch and this could be another corker. Celtic will be keen to hit back after Ibrox at Christmas and Rangers will have their work cut out on the back of a gruelling European game.
Celtic 3 Rangers 2
Andy Newport
Brendan Rodgers' side are within touching distance of the title and will have all the motivation needed to claim a result that leaves them just points from the trophy. I expect them to edge it and make amends for their January no-show
Celtic 2 Rangers 1
Fraser Wilson
Rangers will fancy their chances of back-to-back derby wins but they could be leg weary and Celtic have a habit of putting anyone who dares show them up in their place the next time they meet.
Celtic 2 Rangers 1
Scott Burns
Celtic will just edge this one with Daizen Maeda being the main man. Brendan Rodgers' side will be fired up for revenge and should also be fresher with Rangers coming off a big European game.
Celtic 2 Rangers 1
Graeme Young
Rangers ripped up the form guide last time, but recovery time and the champs' dominance at home makes this a ripe opportunity for revenge. Expect goals, drama and Barry Ferguson to - at worst - see his team go out on their shield.
Celtic 4 Rangers 2
