Aston Villa will play Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semi-finals after beating Championship club Preston North End in their quarter-final.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring just before the hour mark and scored his second from the penalty spot five minutes later. Jacob Ramsey added a third soon after to ensure a comfortable ending to proceedings at Deepdale.
Villa are now two matches away from lifting the famous trophy for the first time since 1957. They already know that Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest have booked their places in the semi-finals.
The other two potential opponents are either Bournemouth or Manchester City. Their quarter-final clash takes place at 4.30pm after the semi-final draw.
