Dinamo Zagreb have pulled out all the stops and remain confident of landing Greg Taylor at the end of his Celtic contract.

The Scottish international is set to become a free agent in the summer. He is yet to put pen-to-paper on a deal for next season, despite growing interest.

Brendan Rodgers has already lined up Kieran Tierney for next season and has confirmed Taylor is now unlikely to re-sign.

Rodgers was keen to keep Taylor that has now faded as he now has more lucrative offers, where the current Croatian champions are near the top of the tree.

Zagreb are third in the table but will look to try and cut Hajduk Split’s five point lead over the final games. They tried to land Taylor in January but couldn’t prise him out of Celtic.

Sources in Croatia have confirmed that the 27-year-old still is very much a top target for coach Fabio Cannavaro and they have tabled a significant increase on his current Celtic deal.

Taylor is keen to finish off the season with Celtic, as they push for a treble before the end of the campaign, before he commits to his next destination.

The full-back has already won four titles, three Scottish Cup and three League Cups since he joined from Kilmarnock in 2019.
