Celtic legend Scott Brown launches ‘revolutionary’ NHS venture which will help ‘improve tens of thousands of lives’

CELTIC legend Scott Brown has set up a tech firm aiming to free up NHS beds.
His Digi Care Health UK venture is being hailed as a gamechanger for the sector.
Company bosses hope that by using video calls and broadband-ready gear they can help keep people in their homes and out of hospital.
Managing director Shaun Ennis said: “This will be revolutionary in the UK and give support to the healthcare system and support government aspirations to digitise elements of the NHS to free up capacity in hospitals.”
Another broadband business of ex-Hoops and Scotland midfield ace Brown, 39, Future Connected Fibre, is supporting the pilot project in England.
The Ayr United manager’s firms are delivering it with partners NHS England, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside, Cheshire Fire and Rescue, Cheshire Constabulary and Warrington Borough Council.

Last night a source said: “It seems a glittering career at Parkhead wasn’t enough for Scott. He bagged ten Scottish league titles and though he’s still in the game he’s clearly not a man who can sit back and take it easy.”
MD Mr Ennis said: “This is the start towards improving tens of thousands of lives.”
Brown has previously said he was working as a silent partner in his other broadband firm.
Future Connected Fibre aims to provide bespoke, superfast and reliable broadband connections to homes and businesses.
