Celtic squad revealed as defender could tag in to tee up title party with goalkeeping state of play laid bare

A win at McDiarmid Park for Brendan Rodgers' men will leave them one win from a 13th league crown in 14 years

After yet another home slip up from Rangers, Celtic can take a major step towards clinching yet another title.

Hibs' 2-0- win at Ibrox made it five home defeats on the bounce for Barry Ferguson's men, and means that if Brendan Rodgers and his Bhoys can get the job done against St Johnstone in Perth, then a win at home to Kilmarnock next Saturday will secure a 13th Premiership crown in the last 14 years.

Simo Valakari's side saw both of the sides directly above them pick up maximum points on Saturday, leaving them nine points from guaranteed safety.

And things aren't about to get any easier with the champions in town knowing the title is within touching distance.

Kasper Schmeichel may have been snapped in training on Friday, but Rodgers has warned fans not to expect a surprise appearance at McDiarmid Park.

The Dane injured his shoulder on international duty and has been restricted to ball at feet work at Lennoxtown and is still a wee bit away from doing any proper goalkeeper training.

Viljami Sinisalo is expected to continue in goals after keeping a clean sheet on his Premiership debut against Hearts last weekend.

Liam Scales is still suffering with a hamstring injury, although Auston Trusty made the bench against the Jambos after recovering from a calf issue, so could partner Cameron Carter-Vickers in the heart of defence once again in place of Maik Nawrocki.

Here's how Record Sport reckons Celtic might line up at lunchtime.
