Liverpool are on the verge of clinching the Premier League title but a second top-flight crown in five years is still far from sealed with Arsenal looking to overturn the 11-point deficit. However, already reports are swirling over a busy summer and with the campaign in its penultimate month, speculation is ramping up.
But it is becoming more promising that the Reds will tie down star players Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah to new deals following the threat of losing the pair upon the expiry of their contracts in the summer.
Arne Slot may be on the cusp of winning the Premier League in his debut season but already the summer is being billed as a crucial one in the latest stage of the evolution at Anfield.

Ben Doak future as Crystal Palace said to return to bidding table
Former Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United scout Mick Brown has claimed that Crystal Palace will try and negotiate to bring the price-tag down for Liverpool starlet Ben Doak.
The Scotland international has been on loan at Middlesbrough in the Championship and has been one of the shining lights for Michael Carrick's team.
However, he has been sidelined for a number of months with a thigh injury - which initially was a minor problem - but the issue proved to be worse than first feared as he required surgery.
After his impressive start in the second tier of English football, he was linked with moves to Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town during the January transfer window but neither met the requirements set by Liverpool, who rejected bids.
Brown expects Palace to be back in for the Scot at the end of the season but believes they will try bargain the price-tag down.
"Palace are interested in Doak, but they’re not going to spend £30million," he told Football Insider.
"That’s where Dougie Freedman’s exit will be a blow, because they’ll be looking to negotiate with Liverpool to bring that price tag down.
"Doak is a very promising player and one Palace have on their radar.
"I don’t see him coming into the Liverpool team, and to be honest I’m not sure he would start for Palace with Eze, Mateta and Sarr.
"But you’re buying potential with him because he’s got plenty of promise.
"That £30million price tag is a bit steep in those terms, you don’t pay that for a player who isn’t going to make an immediate impact on the team.
"So I’m sure they’ll speak to Liverpool and look to bring that price down.
"Liverpool will be open to that as well because they want to move him on and make some profit, even if it’s £10million or so below what they would ideally want.”
Liverpool 'hold' Dean Huijsen transfer talks as Reds among three 'leading contenders'
The Athletic reported on Thursday that Liverpool are among the clubs who hold a "firm interest" in Bournemouth star Dean Huijsen.
David Ornstein claimed that the Reds are apart of a convoy of the Premier League's big six who are courting the Cherries central defender.
Chelsea and Arsenal have both enquired about the Spain international, while Newcastle United and Tottenham are also keen but the Reds and two of London's European hopefuls are said to be leading contenders.
In addition, all the clubs have held meetings or conversations with the 19-year-old's representatives but the complexion of his future remains uncertain.
Real Madrid are also said to be admirers, meanwhile there is a £50million release clause which could make the deal easy to complete.
In the past, Liverpool haven't resisted triggering them which saw them land Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai in 2023.
