Celtic secure title party date as SPFL give champions shot to win it on own terms – Top six fixtures in full
The dates and times for the the final five encounters in the post-split league phase
Premiership champions Celtic will get the chance to win the title at Tannadice in the first top post-split fixture on Saturday, April 26.
Brendan Rodgers' side stand 15 points clear of rivals Rangers with five games to go and need only one point from their final five fixtures to reign supreme for a 13th season in the past 14 years.
Record Sport revealed league chiefs were hoping for a quick announcement 12 months on from being delayed in the fallout of Rangers' protracted visit to Den's Park.
But no such obstacles stood in the way this time around and now clubs know the five fixtures which stand between themselves and the end of the season.
Celtic will kick things off at lunchtime knowing even a point against Dundee United in Tayside will give them the chance to win the title. Rangers travel to St Mirren for a 3pm kick-off later that day.
Hibs are unbeaten in 17 and fans have circled their clash with top three rivals Aberdeen in the Granite City, also on Saturday April 26.
