Emi Martinez has dropped a team news hint ahead of Aston Villa's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night (8pm).

Unai Emery's side have a tough task on their hands after last week's 3-1 defeat in the first leg in Paris. Morgan Rogers scored Villa’s only goal at the Parc des Princes.

They must now try to overturn the result to secure a place in the semi-finals of the competition. Speaking to the media on Monday, Emery said he believes his team has the quality to get the job done.

"We have to set the game plan as best as possible and try to understand how we are facing their idea and how we can get duels on the field," he said. "Then, it is for the players to be the protagonist to do their best work and get their best performance.

"After the first leg, the result is for them. They showed why they are favourites for this competition and played us. But we showed our capacity to compete and be close to have the possibility to beat them. Tactically, we are going to try to get our best individual and collective tactical idea to face them.

"We have to believe and show our wishes to get it, respecting them in the same way we did there, but also using Villa Park like our home and our fortress. There are a lot of teams feeling it. To share with our supporters, who are really motivated for tomorrow."

Ahead of the clash, Martinez was joined by Lucas Digne, Pau Torres and Morgan Rogers in posting pre-match graphic previews of the fixture to their Instagram stories. That usually hints at the player feature, either from the start or from the bench.

The World Cup winner, a virtual ever-present under Emery, is set to make his 46th start in all competitions for Villa this season. Digne meanwhile, is aiming for a ninth start in the Champions League while Torres, is targeting a second successive start in the competition.

Rogers, who scored the opening goal in Paris last week, has warranted another start.
