AARON RAMSEY is currently in the middle of another frustrating injury lay-off.

But the former Rangers loanee is certainly making the most of his time away from the pitch.

It's three years since Ramsey, 34, made his stunning move to Ibrox.

The former Arsenal star joined the Gers in a sensational loan switch from Juventus on transfer deadline in day in January 2022.

Heralded as one of the biggest coups Scottish football had seen for years, it didn't quite work out for the Wales captain in Glasgow.

As has been the case for much of his career, injury ravaged his spell.

He did manage to make 13 appearances and chipped in with a couple of goals.

Ramsey's time at Rangers is best remembered, however, for his gut-wrenching penalty miss in the Europa League Final shoot-out.

He was the only player to fail to score as the Light Blues fell to a heartbreaking defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Ramsey would leave Ibrox on a high after lifting the Scottish Cup.

After moving on, he had a year with Nice before returning to boyhood club Cardiff in 2023.

Despite getting through his campaign in France relatively injury-free, Ramsey has been dogged by issues since going back to Wales.

Having made just 13 appearances in the 2023/24 campaign he had made just ten this time around when his season was declared over.

Ramsey had spent five months on the sidelines earlier in the season with a hamstring issue.

And it was his hamstring that proved the problem again in a clash with Luton last month.

A significant injury led to Ramsey undergoing surgery and his 2024/25 campaign was over.

While he hasn't had much joy on the pitch, away from it, the midfielder was all smiles as he launched his new business venture.

Ramsey is the co-founder of Tens Spirits alongside leading Welsh chef Tom Simmons.

Tens Spirits is a new brand of premium vodka that's made in Wales.

Simmons' restaurant 'Thomas by Tom Simmons' was named the AA's Restaurant of the Year in Wales this year.

After appearing on MasterChef the Professionals back in 2011, he's gone on to become one of the top chefs in the country.

Ramsey and Simmons' new vodka has been described at launch as "perfection for moments that matter."

Ramsey himself has teased on social media there's more to come regarding the new venture next week.
