Ipswich v Arsenal LIVE: Premier League result, latest updates and reaction after Trossard double

Gunners delay Liverpool title party with big away win after Bernabeu heroics

Arsenal were back in Premier League action at Portman Road on Sundau. After their heroics in Madrid on Wednesday, the Gunners beat Ipswich to delay the Liverpool title party. The Champions League is clearly the priority for the Gunners from here on in but Mikel Arteta will be pleased to keep momentum going before the first leg of their semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain in two weeks’ time.

Defeat for Arsenal against Ipswich could have seen Liverpool crowned champions later this afternoon if Arne Slot’s leaders had then gone on and beat Leicester. Despite the herculean shift his side put in at the Bernabeu in midweek, Arteta named a strong side that included Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice. Saka was lucky to avoid a bad injury after after a horror tackle in the first half.

Ipswich look doomed to the Championship but their relegation was not longer be confirmed after West Ham only drew with Southampton yesterday. Follow the game LIVE below with our dedicated match blog, featuring expert insight and analysis from Simon Collings at Portman Road.

Arsenal have been trying that short corner all game - and it finally works. A great pass from Rice to make the goal. That’s 17 goals and assists for the season, his best campaign in terms of attacking output.

GOAL! Ipswich 0-3 Arsenal | Trossard 69’

A second for Trossard! It’s all too easy for Arsenal. It’s a good finish from Trossard but the defending from Ipswich is awful.
