How to watch Man Utd v Wolves today with game not on TV
Manchester United face Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday but the match is not on TV, with the Red Devils in action on Thursday night in the Europa League
Ruben Amorim's Manchester United will be riding high on their Europa League triumph over Lyon as they prepare to host Wolves at Old Trafford this Sunday. Despite what looks set to be a record low Premier League points tally and finish for the Red Devils, it would be understandable if their focus was primarily on European success in their quest for Champions League qualification next season.
Nonetheless, a win against Wolves could provide a much-needed boost for Amorim's squad when the two teams face off at Old Trafford. Vitor Pereira's Wolves are not to be underestimated, having not suffered a top-flight defeat since February.
They're on a four-match winning streak and recently dealt Tottenham a crushing 4-2 blow at Molineux.
Even though the Premier League may have taken a backseat, United will still be aiming to finish the league season on a positive note, with only 10 top-flight victories under their belt so far this season. However, UK fans hoping to catch the match live will be disappointed, although there are plenty of other matches to keep them entertained.
Why isn't Man Utd vs Wolves being broadcast on UK TV?
The clash between Man Utd and Wolves won't be televised in the UK due to United's ongoing involvement in the Europa League. The Red Devils had a nail-biting encounter with Lyon at home on Thursday night, which saw the game swing back and forth before Amorim's team finally clinched a 5-4 victory after extra time, progressing 7-6 on aggregate.
The match between Wolves and United, originally scheduled for a Saturday, was moved to a Sunday 2pm kick-off due to a fixture just days before. However, with three other matches also taking place on Sunday, Sky Sports chose to broadcast another games instead, leaving UK fans unable to watch the Old Trafford clash.
From next season, this will change as all Premier League matches not set for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday will be aired live in the UK, thanks to a new TV deal.
How can you watch Man Utd v Wolves then?
Unless you have a ticket to the stadium, UK fans won’t be able to watch along live. But international viewers can tune in via their local Premier League TV rights holders.
UK fans will have to wait around 20 minutes after the final whistle for Sky Sports to post their three-minute highlights on YouTube and the Sky Sports App.
A longer highlights package will be available later on in Match of the Day 2 at 10.30pm on BBC One.
Viewers in the US will be able to watch the match live. It begins at 9:00 am ET in the USA.
It will also be aired live on Optus Sport in Australia from 12:00am Australia time on Monday.
So, which Premier League games are on TV?
While Amorim's team won't be featured this Sunday, Sky Sports subscribers can look forward to two live broadcasts at 2pm and 4:30pm. Instead of the United game, Arsenal's visit to Ipswich Town has been chosen for the 2pm slot.
The Gunners, currently second in the league, may also have their focus divided by European competition during their remaining six league games.
Later, at 4:30pm, league leaders Liverpool will take on Leicester, who've been struggling recently. If Arsenal suffer a defeat at Portman Road, a win over the Foxes could secure the title for the Reds.
