Mikel Arteta faces the media following his side’s clash with Crystal Palace. Arsenal did manage to deny Liverpool the title but only for a few days it seems.

The Gunners took the lead inside the first three minutes with Jakub Kiwior heading in a Martin Odegaard free-kick. Ebere Eze would bring the scores level not long after, however, as he managed to fire a volley off the post from a corner to beat David Raya.

Before the half-time whistle, however, Leandro Trossard found the corner after a great find from Jurrien Timber. Yet another William Saliba mistake cost the Gunner once again, gifting Jean-Philippe Mateta the chance of a second for Palace.

On Partey contract

I always gave the answer to that the other day and it's not for me.

On the game

We always look because we know how tough it is.

We will see where we finish, there is a lot to go.

On Martinelli's goal being ruled out

I haven't seen it.

On the game

We haven't been able to see the games off and the margins have been too small. Several times with ten men.

Especially when we have been ahead in games. Especially in the second half we have to be able to see the game off.

On whether PSG was in the players' minds

Hopefully not, and we still have six days to prepare for that game. We have lost lots of players who were unable to train.

On the game

We never got the consistency to dominate the game in the way we normally do.

When you are not at your best and you are two times ahead, you have to see the game off.

Arsenal player ratings

The Gunners were frustratingly held to a 2-2 draw with London rivals Crystal Palace and in the end it was of their own making. It denies Liverpool the title for now but could see the gap to third close up dangerously so.

Arsenal took the lead through Jakub Kiwior after only a couple of minutes, heading past Dean Henderson. However, Ebere Eze would provide the equaliser with a brilliant volleyed equaliser from the edge of the Gunners box.

Before the break, Leandro Trossard managed to find the net after some great work from Jurrien Timber to spot him centrally before he notched his third in two games. Yet again however William Saliba made a massive error to gift Palace a goal late on.
