In the chaos and bedlam of the final few minutes in Chelsea's dramatic victory at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon, Blues fans would be forgiven if they forgot about a certain moment towards the end.

Pedro Neto scored with an absolute peach of a strike on 93 minutes away at Fulham to keep Chelsea's dream of qualifying for Champions League football very much alive. It felt like such a significant moment in the Blues' season and it sparked some wild celebrations in the away end - leading to players embracing the supporters for a good few minutes once the full-time whistle had been blown.

So it may have slipped your mind that just before the fourth official's board went up to indicate the amount of stoppage time that was added, there was a moment of concern for Chelsea. Malo Gusto looked as if he was holding his hamstring and was forced off. Gusto limped off the pitch slowly in west London and was replaced by Tosin Adarabioyo for the final few moments.

After the game, Enzo Maresca was asked about Gusto and confirmed it was bad news. The Italian said: "Unfortunately it is not a good one, a muscle problem and you can see against Ipswich, second-half he was inside, changed the game, today he was inside, changed the game, how important Malo is for us and unfortunately it looks like a muscle injury."

While Maresca did not confirm whether it was his hamstring or not, the Frenchman was certainly holding that area as he was limping off at Craven Cottage. If it is indeed his hamstring, then you would expect him to miss a significant chunk of the remainder of the season. If not, all of it.

It leaves Chelsea short at right-back and on the other side, but it should not be too much of a problem. Reece James nowadays is preferred in the centre of midfield but if needs must, then the captain will be asked to fill in on the right-hand side of defence, and has also played on the left at times this season.

The win against Fulham was a big moment for James, who played the first 45 minutes after completing the full 90 less than 72 hours before in the Conference League victory against Legia Warsaw at Stamford Bridge. "Fantastic, very happy because he played 90 minutes two days ago and played again 45 so for us as a team it's an important moment because we can start to think about him every three days and this is fantastic for us because he's our captain, he's a main player, fantastic player so it's good news."

Josh Acheampong has been super impressive whenever called upon for first team duty this term. Maresca even went as far as saying he "fell in love" with the 18-year-old following his performance in Chelsea's win in Poland against Legia Warsaw earlier this month. Trevoh Chalobah has also played the odd game at right-back for the Blues since returning to the club in January.

With Romeo Lavia back and fit once again, there is also scope to start Moises Caicedo on the right side of defence. This would allow him to invert and partner Lavia in the middle while Enzo Fernandez is given more licence to roam forward into one of the No.10 spots. This could be something we see this weekend.

Saturday afternoon sees Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge in an enormous match for their Champions League qualification hopes. The Toffees will pose a difficult challenge to the Blues, with the Merseyside outfit losing just two of their last 13 Premier League matches - and they came against champions elect Liverpool and last season's winners Manchester City.
