THE FA Cup final could sensationally be MOVED to accommodate an iconic annual TV show.

This year's culmination of the oldest cup competition in world football will take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 17.

Manchester City will look to end a dreadful season on a high by reclaiming the cup against Crystal Palace.

Kick-off time is expected to be 3:00pm, although it could commence at 5:15pm like last weekend's semi-final between Palace and Aston Villa.

But the BBC are said to be pushing for a 3:00pm kick-off so the game doesn't clash with the Eurovision song contest.

If the match starts after 5:00pm and goes to extra time or penalties, there is a strong chance it'll overlap with the start of Eurovision.

That won't be the case if the game kicks off at 3:00pm, with a 6:30pm finish on the cards if the game goes to pens.

The FA will likely finalise the start time for the match this week.

Several other factors will play a role in the FA's kick-off time decision, which they'll make with the local council and police.

This year's final will, bizarrely, take place BEFORE the end of the Premier League season.

No Premier League match will take place that day, with the domestic campaign coming to an end on Sunday, May 25.

City booked passage to this year's final with a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest last Sunday.
