<p>Per <a href="https://sport.sky.de/transfer/news/34132/13357702/100-millionen-netto-sane-lehnt-mega-angebot-fuer-bayern-verbleib-ab" target="_blank"><em>Sky Sports</em></a> in Germany, Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad offered Sane a massive €100 million (£85m/$113m) contract for four years, but the Germany international has turned it down as he is close to agreeing a new deal with Bayern Munich.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/leroy-sane-transfer-decision-arsenal-liverpool-look-snap-germany-star-free-transfer/blt3ed7c0c722e02ca6" target="_blank">Bundesliga giants are expected to reach an agreement with the player</a> over a new contract in the next couple of weeks, which will be valid until 2028. Sane is likely to accept a pay cut from his current gross salary, as under the terms of the new deal, the winger will earn a salary of €10m per season, which could rise to €14m and €16m with bonuses.</p>

<p>The former Manchester City player had also attracted interest from English giants Liverpool and Arsenal, but it seems he has made up his mind to stay at Allianz Arena to fulfil his ultimate dream of winning the Champions League with the Bavarian side.</p>
