The midfield ace swapped Man Utd for Napoli last summer in a £25million deal and he's never looked back.

The 28-year old has become the Italian giants' main man and has inspired their Serie A title challenge this season.

With three games left to go, Napoli have a three-point lead over nearest rivals Inter Milan and are on course for a fourth Scudetto.

McTominay has been their star man, flourishing in an advanced role and netting 12 goals Gli Azzurri.

The Napoli fans are a passionate bunch and they've found various ways to show their love for their new Scottish hero.

Many turn up to games wearing kilts, while a pizza has even been named after him.

One fan took it to a whole new level by getting a McTominay TATTOO on his leg, including the midfield ace's new nickname, 'McFratm.'

Among a sea of many nicknames bestowed upon him, that's the one that's stuck.

Christened by a teammate, it translates as 'McBro' and it's caught fire.

The nickname also appears in an incredible SHRINE that's popped up in the centre of Naples.

Tucked away down a narrow, graffiti-painted street called San Nicola a Nilo you can now see the Scotland star's face on an old 17th building.

At the heart of Naples' Decumani district, McTominay's portrait can be seen on a rather striking space, flanked by pillars and some incredible architecture.

As well as McTominay's name, the display also includes his nickname 'McFratm' and the initials 'N4,' a reference to what the fans hope will be Napoli's upcoming fourth championship success.

There's also his number 8 shirt and a football painted on.

Exactly who is responsible for the creation remains a mystery.

In front of it sits a 'Super Santos' football, a bright orange ball that's become a Naples staple for kids in the city to enjoy a kickabout with, sits right in front of the mural having become stuck there long ago.

It's the latest incredible tribute to the Hampden hero and it has shades of how the great Diego Maradona was treated in the city.

The late Argentina superstar is Napoli's biggest ever legend, inspiring the club to its first two Serie A titles in 1987 and 1990.

Walking around Naples, it'd be hard pressed NOT to find some kind of tribute to Maradona.

Those tributes include several murals, including the most famous one painted by Napoli supporter Mario Filardi in 1990 after the club's second Scudetto triumph.
