Champions League team of the week: Arsenal duo joined by Liverpool & Chelsea stars in Spanish publication
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has been criticised for revealing one of his team's biggest struggles following Wednesday's 5-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt. The Champions League victory saw Liverpool return to winning ways after a dismal run of four consecutive defeats across all competitions‚ with their most recent setback coming at the hands of bitter rivals Manchester United last weekend. With star man Mohamed Salah named on the bench‚ Liverpool cruised to victory thanks to goals from five separate scorers - with Hugo Ekitike‚ Virgil van Dijk‚ Ibrahima Konate‚ Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai all finding the target after Rasmus Kristensen's opening goal for the hosts.
CBS Sports presenter Kate Scott had an extremely close call after splitting her dress during their live broadcast on Wednesday. The glamorous TV host was on duty for CBS' coverage of the Champions League‚ during which she suffered the embarrassing wardrobe malfunction. Midway through the broadcast‚ former USMNT star Clint Dempsey offered some handshakes and fist bumps to his fellow panelists‚ including Scott.

KIERAN GILL: Sometimes‚ we can forget quite how young this Chelsea side under Enzo Maresca truly is‚ then an evening such as this occurs in which it is so record-breakingly blatant that it becomes impossible to ignore. For the first time in Champions League history‚ three teenagers scored for a side in a single game. That was Marc Guiu‚ Estevao Willian and Tyrique George. To make matters even more ludicrous‚ Chelsea's youngest scorer in this competition's history was Reece James‚ who was 19 years and 332 days of age when he scored in a 4-4 draw with Ajax in November 2019. Guiu‚ Estevao and George are all even younger than James was that night. Each could have had the record for himself therefore had only one of them scored. As all three did‚ Estevao sneaked it at the age of 18 years and 181 days‚ with Guiu and George both 19 and change.
